East Suffolk Council says enough is enough — it’s objecting to National Grid’s Sea Link project over fears of more disruption for local communities.

Framlingham, Aldeburgh and other parts of east Suffolk could face more disruption from new energy infrastructure — and the local council says it’s had enough.

East Suffolk Council has officially objected to National Grid’s proposed Sea Link project, saying it would cause more harm to local communities, the environment and the economy. Their submission to the Planning Inspectorate says the project piles on top of other schemes the area is already struggling with.
