A police scene had to be put in place in Lowestoft following an unexplained death.
The incident occurred at around 11.45pm, Saturday 8th July, in Katwijk Way.
A man - believed to be aged in his 40s – was found collapsed in the street and despite the best efforts of police and paramedics, he sadly died at the scene. The family of the man have been informed.
An area of Katwijk Road was cordoned off until 5am while police enquiries were completed.
The death is currently being treated at unexplained, but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances at this time. A file will now be completed for the Coroner.
