There have been building fires in Beccles and Lowestoft within hours of each other.
Eight fire crews from across the east Suffolk area were called to a fire in Beccles Town Centre.
The incident happened at the Graze White Horse restaurant in New Market early yesterday afternoon.
Six firefighters in breathing apparatus dealt with the fire at the rear of the building, with no reports of any casualties.
Meanwhile just a couple of hours earlier yesterday, emergency services were called to a fire in Lowestoft…
An electric cycle on charge in a ground floor flat had caught fire in Surrey Street - and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus put the flames out.
There were no reports of casualties but the fire caused severe damage to a building.
