Lowestoft, Beccles, Leiston and Halesworth are among the places which have just had their sunniest month of March on record.
Provisional figures from the Met Office show that Suffolk had just over 236 hours of sunny weather last month - beating the previous March record from three years ago when there was 197 hours of sun.
March 2025 was also Suffolk’s second driest March on record - with less than 5 millimetres of wet weather all month.
