The accident between a bus and a van on Yarmouth Road next to Belle Vue Park happened on Saturday afternoon (28th October).
Three fire crews from Lowestoft attended the crash on the A47 -which was closed for a time.
The East Anglia Air Ambulance was also called to the scene - with Suffolk police asking for any witnesses to the incident to contact them. This image from Lowestoft South Fire Station on social media, shows just how badly damaged both vehicles were.
