Saxmundham and nearby villaghit by a power cut with more than 500 hundred homes and businesses affected.
Traffic lights in the town centre were also out, causing delays near the train station on Saturday morning.
UK Power Networks confirmed the fault was on its high-voltage network. Power was restored during the course of the day.
