People in Halesworth are celebrating after the bridge in the town was reopened.
A special ceremony was held to mark the occasion as The White Bridge on Millennium Green - was finally opened after a two and a half year wait.
The White Bridge is also known as the Blyth Bridge - was deemed unsafe back by engineers three years ago.
The replacement work started in September last year and should have been finished earlier this month - but flooding at the site pushed the official opening date back again.
Suffolk Highways said that the construction has now completed, enabling the new replacement bridge now open to the public.
