A business has lost thousands of pounds of trade because of power cuts in Oulton Broad this month.
From Wedneday 12th June until Tuesday night 18th June, areas affected by a series of power failures included in Bridge Road and Victoria Road.
Steve Thornton runs the Lady of the Lake pub and restaurant - and told East Suffolk One, that the power cuts this week have lost his business alone thousands of pounds
Steve said the he also had to arrange his own generators to help save thousands of pounds of food.
There has been a positive repsonse from local people to the businesses impact. At the The Lake of the Lake, local musicians have offered to play for free to help get customers back in to the restuarant and bar. Mr Thornton said thatt the positive support he received from local people has been amazing.
