A temporary Post Office has opened in Leiston - after uncertainty on which location would be used.
Post Office services have now been restored on an interim basis, operating from inside the East of England Co-op on Sizewell Road.
The temporary in-store branch offers a range of Post Office services, returning local access for customers who had been forced to travel elsewhere.
The move is intended to provide continuity while longer-term arrangements for Post Office provision in Leiston are explored. The location within the Co-op places services in a central and familiar setting for many residents.
The Post Office says the temporary solution ensures the town continues to be served following the closure of the previous branch, and customers are encouraged to use the new in-store facility on Sizewell Road.
