A yacht with three people on board had to be rescued, after it ran aground on a sandbank last week.
Lowesoft’s Lifeboat crew were called out just before 10 o’clock on Thursday night - when the 35 foot yacht got stuck on Newcombe Sands, half a mile off the Suffolk coast.
Once freed into deeper water, the boat and its crew were eventually towed back safely into Lowestoft harbour.
