A sinkhole has partially closed a road in Lowestoft.
A large sinkhole that appeared in a north Lowestoft road may not be repaired for days.
Suffolk HIghways says that now the hole in Stanley Street has been made safe for passing traffic - it will be Anglian Water who will carry out further investigations and repairs.
It was on Tuesday that the sinkhole first appeared - and it is not currently known when the residential road will be able to fully reopen.
