Strong winds have caused disruption across parts of east Suffolk, bringing down trees, closing roads and leaving hundreds of homes without power.
Gusts of up to 60mph swept through the area, leading to fallen trees and damage to overhead cables.
In Beccles, Bungay Road and Ringsfield Road were among the routes affected after trees came down during the severe gales.
Meanwhile in Halesworth, there were reports engineers were forced to switch off electricity supplies after an overhead power cable fell.
Residents in the area were been advised to keep at least 10 metres away from the cable for safety while engineers worked to make the area safe and restore power.
Energy crews and local authorities have been dealing with the impact of the high winds across the east Suffolk area.
