Work on a controversial incinerator near Beccles is underway.
Concerns had been raised by East Suffolk Council about the new incinerator - which is situated at V C Cooke on the Ellough Industrial Estate.
There were fears that the site of the plant - was very close to where hundreds of new homes are due to be built, plus concerns over an environmental impact assessment.
Back in Agust 2023 - a public debate was held in Beccles about plans for the new incinerator.
V C Cooke have been based in the local area since 1960 - and applied to build the structure, which includes the 36 metre flue stack.
