Rail passengers travelling between Lowestoft and Ipswich are being reminded that engineering work will affect services over three weekends this month.
Replacement buses will run between Halesworth and Ipswich while improvement work takes place on the railway. Trains will continue to operate between Halesworth and Lowestoft.
The disruption is scheduled across three consecutive weekends, beginning this weekend.
The work forms part of ongoing improvements along the route. Engineers are installing more continuously welded rail, which helps create a smoother and quieter ride for passengers. Signalling equipment is also being upgraded as part of the project.
Passengers travelling between Ipswich and stations along the line are advised to allow extra time for their journeys and check travel information before setting off.
Rail services between Halesworth and Lowestoft are expected to run as normal during the work.
