Thousands of road users faced diversions after a busy east Suffolk road had to be shut for emergency work.
The A146 at North Cove had to be closed because of a large tree that could have fallen across the road.
Suffolk Highways said that tree surgeons were able to make the area safe for traffic - with the route reopened late on Wednesday morning (16th Octber).
