Thieves in Beccles have stolen antique jewellery worth £60,000.
Enquiries into the incident which took place at a shop in Blyburgate are on-going. At some point between Friday 8th September at 4.30pm and Saturday 9th September at 9.15am entry was gained to a shop on Blyburgate. A window pane was removed and the offender(s) climbed in and two display cabinets were accessed with a large quantity of antique jewellery stolen, estimated to be worth around £60,000. Enquiries into the incident are on-going and police are appealing for anyone who witnessed any suspicious behaviour during the times stated, has CCTV or dash cam footage of suspicious behaviour in the area, or knows who was responsible or has been offered for sale items of antique jewellery in suspicious circumstances.
